Jeremy Ray Starts 2019 Season Strong at 50th Anniversary Gatornationals

The 2018 NHRA Pro Mod Rookie of the Year, Jeremy Ray, starts his second season strong at the 50th Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida.

On Friday, in Qualifying session #1, the "Carolina Kingpin" 1963 Corvette had to lift early. In Qualifying session #2, Jeremy ran a 5.729 @ 249 which took him to the #2 spot.

On Saturday, in Qualifying session #3, Jeremy ran a 5.69 @ 249. In Qualifying session #4, Jeremy ran a 5.674 @ 249 to place him in the #4 qualifying position.

On Raceday Sunday, Jeremy wins Round 1 with a 5.696 @ 249. In Round 2, Michael Biehle redlit to give Jeremy the win light with a 5.693 @ 249. In the Semifinal Round, the "Carolina Kingpin" 1963 Corvette would not start due to an ignition switch failure. Hats off to Stevie Jackson and team and NHRA for giving us the time needed to try to get our car started. Jeremy is currently 3rd in the NHRA Pro Mod Championship Points. The J4 Racing Team will travel to Houston, Texas on April 12-14, 2019.
