Ray Runs Third Quickest Pass in NHRA Pro Mod History in Charlotte

Jeremy Ray and the J4 Racing Team made their eleventh stop on NHRA E3 Spark Plugs Pro Mod Tour presented by J & A Service at the NHRA Carolina Nationals in Charlotte.

After coming from his first Pro Mod win in Dallas, in the first qualifying session, Jeremy puts up a stellar 5.70 @ 252 pass to climb to the #1 spot. In Q2, Jeremy ran 5.71 @ 251 and a 5.684 @ 251 in Q3. In Q4. Jeremy ran the third quickest pass in NHRA history with a 5.683 @ 251 and qualified in the #2 spot.

On RaceDay Sunday, Jeremy defeated Chip King with a 5.694 @ 251 in Round 1. Ray defeated Mike Janis in Round 2 with a 5.690 @ 249 which was the quickest side by side race in NHRA Pro Mod history. Ray lost Semifinal Round against Sidnei Frigo with a 5.76 @ 245.

The J4 Racing Team will travel to the last stop of the NHRA Pro Tour at the NHRA Toyota Nationals in Las Vegas on October 26-28, 2018.
