Great Start to First Half NHRA Rookie Season for Ray

Jeremy Ray and the J4 Racing Team has had a great first half of their racing season as they finished their sixth stop of the 2018 NHRA Pro Mod Tour at the Fitzgerald NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals in Bristol, Tennessee on June 15-17, 2018.

In the first qualifying session on Friday, Jeremy ran a 5.93 @ 243. In Q2, Jeremy ran a 5.87 @ 244 to solidify his #5 qualifying position. On Saturday, track and weather conditions were significantly hotter than Friday. As a result, the Carolina Kingpin '63 Corvette had tire shake on both qualifying sessions.

On Raceday Sunday, Jeremy got out of the gate first with a great reaction time of (.024) but lost first round with a 6.04 @ 242.

The J4 Racing Team will travel to the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio on June 21-24.
